Fire Opal Necklace with Birds in Dragon Breath

Have you ever seen dragon breath fire opal in person? It's .... unbelievable.

This Czech made glass cabochon is made in the same method as the dragon breath fire opals of the mid-century bohemian costume jewelry era, but with much more blue "fire" and a deep saturated pink-red color. Cobalt is strewn through the glass in the production process to create this opalescent effect that you can't take your eyes off of!

Available in 4 smashing opal colors, (left to right: dragon breath, blue, midnight and green), swooping swallows carry a silver plated morning glory vine topped with a magnificent glass stone.

Hangs on a 15 inch chain so it sits high on your neck, but can be lengthened upon request.
