We've managed to negotiate reasonable prices for DHL Express, so if you want your order to arrive within 3-4 days worldwide, consider to use this option. If you choose Standard Shipping, we'll ship your order First Class registered. International posting varies quite a lot depending on the workload of Customs and average shipping terms are: for the US - 10-20 days, for Europe - 4-7 days rest of the world - 7-21 days.

Safety and care instructions

Some older circuit boards may contain heavy metals but in very low concentrations. Furthermore, we use resin and lacquer to protect you from touching any circuit board inside. We take your health very seriously. We do our best to work with materials that don't tarnish and don't require much of care to look and work well. Please, consider that sterling silver jewelry may tarnish with time. But it is easy to bring the shine back by polishing with a silver polishing cloth. The resin is waterproof, but longer contact with water can cause surface infraction. Please, try to avoid water contact with mirrored clock faces. If you want to polish it, please use a very soft cloth to avoid scratches.

Are these real circuit boards?

Yes, they are! We started the Recomputing using broken motherboards that Jaroslav has collected working as a repair specialist. Now when we ran out of his stock, we buy broken circuit boards locally. During the years we found out that manufacturers use many different colors for solder mask and nowadays green is not the most common one anymore. Now we use these eight colors in our work: blue, dark blue, red, green, purple, dark brown / black, yellow / olive green, orange.
