This garment is unique and only one piece of this jacket exists in the world.
The jacket has a bomber jacket look and is made up of different pieces of fabric as it's made from upcycled garments. The main body and the sleeves have been hand dyed green. The jacket has a collar and two chest pockets with embroidery decoration. The sleeves are oversized and have a ruched effect created with a drawstring. The sleeves are made of vintage pants and the main fabric on the front used to be a skirt. The jacket has elastic waistband and a zipper opening on the center front. The back of the jacket features a spectacular embroidered image of a dragon and the lining features an eagle image on green fabric.
This jacket is made from upcycled materials. Here you can see the up-cycling process and which garments specifically were used in the making of this garment.

The model is size 38. The jacket fits 34, 36, 38, 40 & 42.

SLEMBIVAL
Fashion designers Sæunn Kjartansdóttir and Ólöf Jóhannsdóttir have created an innovative design process based on randomized selection and recycling. The collection is called Slembival.

We have collected approx. 200 kg of used clothes in 2020. The random selection method means that we blindly pull out 3 garments from a pile of clothes. Those garments shall be used for the design and construction of a new garment. The type of garment in question for each design is also chosen at random. The aim is always not to waste material / garments and to create a new garment that is beautiful and wearable. In this way we create a complete clothing line and customers get a unique garment with a story. The story can be seen through the QR code on the garment’s label.
