Plant dyed embroidery 100% cotton floss. They are sold in 3 skeins of graded soft tones, each 8.7 yd (26 ft - 8 m) - total 26 yd (78 ft - 24 m) - please choose in the menu option:

1 - Achillée: cream / off-white / linen - November 25 🌿
2 - Narcisse - pale lemon / chamomile / golden beige - January 26 🌿
3 - Ecorce - variation of ocher / gray / rosy beige - June 26 🌿
4 - Peony: 3 tones of pink - June 26 🌿
5 - Tendre Vert- Green: sage / linden / blue green - December 25 🌿
6 - Ancolie: pale blue / celadon / sky - May 26 🌿
7 - Lavande: mauve / blueish lilac / pale mauve - February 26 🌿

These are very small batches in limited edition that cannot be repeated in the exact same shades because plants always give slightly different nuances and variations.

The thread comes from a vintage stock that I dye myself in my atelier in the South of France: the stranded thread is composed of 6 separable strands, a bit like the traditional modern Mouliné but less shiny and a bit finer. You can embroider with 1 thread or more (as traditionally for cross stitch), depending on the thickness you want. You can also use them for needlepoint, sashiko visible and decorative mending and more :)

I use natural products, time and heat replace artificial fixatives. These threads can be washed gently in cold water. It is better not to use them on items that need to be washed often in hot water, such as towels, or if there is a lot of rubbing, such as socks. They are very suitable for the creation of delicate embroideries as decoration.

The greens come from alfalfa, the pinks from madder (sometimes from avocado), the blues from woad (sometimes from indigo), the browns from the current mix (often acacia / eucalyptus / oak / alder...), the yellow-straw from weld (sometimes rhubarb),...
