An elegant ceramic and oak lighting fixture that radiates the beauty of the natural materials. Our Dawn ceiling light’s slip-cast ceramic shade is held in place by a stylish hand-turned oak support that fits flush to your ceiling.

Finished with our coastal Blue and White gloss glaze.

Our pieces are influenced by a deep connection to the surrounding landscape. From rolling sand dunes to ancient woodlands, Cornwall’s coastal hues and natural forms inspire a commitment to honest design and authentic materials that will last a lifetime.

All of our lights are handmade to order and slight variations in the glaze make each piece unique.

Please note, bulb is not included.

Simple to install using the metal mounting plate, onto which the oak support is fitted. The light is supplied with an Edison Screw E27 fitting (an E26 fitting is supplied for North America. Please note, the metal mounting plate fits a standard American J Box.).

Our lights are suitable for UK, EU and North American electrical supplies, we will send the appropriate fitting based on the delivery address provided.

Max 25 watt standard incandescent bulb
Max 10 watt LED bulb
Please note: a 6 watt LED bulb is equivalent in brightness to a 60 watt standard incandescent bulb. The light fitting is compatable with a dimmable a bulb and dimmer switch.

We recommend the following bulbs: Tala Oval bulb, Tala Porcelain II, G95 shape bulb.

For North American customers: the electrical components used in the light fixture (E26 lampholder and cable) are UL listed.

Ingress Protection Rating: IP20
This is a Class 1 light fitting that needs to be earthed.

All of our lights are made to order in our workshop in Cornwall, UK.

We offer bespoke glaze colours and wood finishes. Please get in touch to discuss this further. We cannot change the size or shape of the ceramic shades.
