The dragonfly is often considered a visitor from beyond, loved ones checking in on us. Bringing blessings, harmony, and loving relationships, while driving away bad luck. The First Nations people also view the dragonfly as a symbol of change, transformation, renewal, and hope. They're also considered one of the garden's living jewels. This votive candle holder captures the elegance and simplicity of the dragonfly in flight.

Many different architects were inspired by nature, most notably Greene & Greene, Frank Lloyd Wright, and the Prairie School movement. Organic architecture celebrated the intersection of buildings and nature, and extended nature into the homes in windows, tiles, fireplaces, lamps, and more.

I create all of my lamps out of 1/8" US made engineered wood panels. The lightweight property of using this thickness means that it can easily be placed higher on shelves or windowsills. Unlike the heavier products made out of 1/2" wood panels. It also reduces the amount of dust trapped in the design.
