(dowel/rod not included)

I make these from old furniture/cabinetry/framing lumber scraps that would otherwise have ended up in landfills. I typically drill 1-1/2” primary holes for 1-1/4" wooden dowels (and can drill optional secondary holes for 1/4" steel rods).
I've also made variations for tight spaces and angled walls where there is no 'protruding bracket' and the dowels can be inserted right into the 'wall block'.
They have an aesthetic that suits many styles, from rustic to mid-century chic to modern and minimalist.
These brackets don't include dowels or rods, since those need to be customized to your space (and to make shipping easier).

I recommend using GRK interior finish (or trim) screws to screw into your wall (1-1/2" to 2" length) - they have a very slender head which lend a very decorative and chic appearance to the block that holds the bracket.

Unfinished: Each piece is sanded, and edges are slightly smoothed.

Stained: I brush on miniwax which offers a variety of tinted hues.

Varnish: I use a high quality finishing sprayer for 1 evenly applied protective coat and let cure for 24 hours.

Primer: I use a separate high quality sprayer to evenly coat with primer.

Paint: I apply your color choice with a premium quality spray can.
