I have purchased prints online before that were very pixelated and/or blurry. What resolution are your prints created from?

Rideland produces the finest quality reproduction and original prints on the market today, utilizing the same technology and archival materials used by the world’s top fine art galleries and museums. Every design we offer starts with high resolution scans, which are professionally restored or completely rebuilt to remove blemishes and defects. Our restoration techniques seek a balance between completely rebuilding the images and allowing the natural imperfections from the original printing method, aging and artists “hand” to remain.

What is the optional white border? And what is it for?

Select “Borderless” for your image to be printed to the posters edge. Select “With Border” to add approximately 1/4” white border around entire image. It may be best to select the “With Border” option if you intend to frame your print, because the frame itself or mat board will GENERALLY overlap your print 1/4” on all sides (1/2” total of length and width of your print will not be visible). This is especially important to consider on smaller print sizes. Note: The white border may be a touch narrower on the sides than on the top and bottom. This slight variation is normal and not a printing error.

How are your prints shipped?

We generally ship using the USPS, but may choose to ship utilizing UPS or FedEx depending on the print size and ship-to location. No matter what carrier we use, you can be assured your print will make it to you safely. All prints are individually placed in a poly-bag before being packaged for shipment. Small prints will be sent in a sturdy flat mailer and the larger prints will arrive safely rolled in rigid mailing tubes.

What if my print arrives damaged?

If you print arrives damaged we will send you a replacement for free. Please examine your print upon receipt and check for damages. If there is any damage, please take a photo and send it to us with your replacement request (this will help us with our shipping insurance claim).

My print was shipped in a mailing tube, but won’t lay flat. What do I do?

Prints shipped in tubes may remained curled after removal. You can find many tips and tricks for flattening rolled posters on the internet, but we think the easiest way is to: 1. Carefully flatten poster face-down on a flat surface 2. Grab the mailer tube you received your print in 3. Place tube on top of print at one end of the print 4. Now gently roll the tube while wrapping poster onto it 5. Carefully secure poster around the tube with rubber bands or other method that will delicately hold the poster in place 6. Let sit for about 2-3 hours 7. Unroll and enjoy!

Although we only use the highest quality materials that are meant to last a lifetime, exposure to direct sunlight over a period of time can still cause fading and discoloration. Avoid displaying your print in direct sunlight and if you choose to frame it, look for frames that come with UV filtering acrylic plastic or glass. A picture frame will also protect your print from dust and smoke.

Located in New Orleans Square at Disneyland, Pirates of the Caribbean was the last ride that Walt Disney himself helped design, but sadly he never got to experience it, as he died 3 months before it opened.
