Vintage Complementary Consumers Glass Green Ashtray

This is a corporate advertising glass ashtray in a pretty emerald green.

Consumers Glass was founded in 1917 in Montreal, Canada - they manufactured many well known Canadian brands of jars (Jewel, Mason, Pure Seal, Corona, Queen, Safety Seal, Victory) - pretty certain there are many basements which stored these preserve/picking jars through the years - they remain a prominent recycler and maker of Canadian jars and glass products.

Given the embossing this appears to be a complimentary/advertising product made by and for Consumers Glass - although there is no date of manufacture, I am pretty sure this is a vintage item.

This ashtray is in as found/used condition - there are no cracks or breaks - there are scuffs and chips (view photo #1 & #5 & #7) - the colour is what drew my attention.
