Custom and personalized orders

If you don't see the exact item that you would like, don't worry, I can make something custom just for you. Depending on the project, the wait time for a custom order can be 2-6 weeks. Most earrings and tassels can be shipped within 1-2 weeks. THE CUSTOM PROCESS: 1) Click on the "Request a Custom Order" link underneath the photo on a listing or the "Message Mary-Nell" button. 2) Let me know what item you are interested in and what modifications you would like made. 3) I'll send you photos of leather to select from. 4) Once all options and price are agreed upon, I will set up a custom listing detailing all of your choices so you may purchase it. This may require many messages to make sure we are on the same page.

What colors of leather do you have available?

I can order just about any color you can imagine: pebble, grainy, smooth, metallic, floral, camo, striped, plaid. Yes, leather can come in all of these types. Just convo me the color you are looking for and I'll send you photos of the leathers I have access to in that color. I have photos of many of my leathers on my Facebook page. Do you charge sales tax?

I am required by the State of Louisiana to collect and remit sales tax on any order shipped to a Louisiana address. Etsy also collects and remits sales tax for many other states based on their state laws.

Additional Shipping Policies

I ship all orders USPS First Class Mail within 1-3 days and they typically arrive within 2-5 days after mailing, anywhere in the continental US. All packages will be shipped with insurance. If your package is lost in the mail, a claim statement/affidavit signed by you will be required. This is a form document that will be provided that allows you to indicate loss or damage.

Will your leather earrings have that "fuzz" that gets all over my clothes like some leather earrings do?

I treat the back of most of my leathers with a leather treatment product that prevents the ability of "fuzz" to transfer to your clothes.

Can't find the exact color of leather tassels, I will work with you to find the perfect leather for your custom-made tassel. Message me via Etsy Convo BEFORE you place your order if I don't have your exact color in the drop down so we can find your leather and agree on the details. All of my tassels are carefully hand cut by me in my studio in Sugartown, Louisiana USA.

DETAILS:
This listing is for one (1) CUSTOM double ended leather tassel in your choice of metallic color. The bags in the photos are not included. Thickness and exact color of leathers will vary between each type/color of leather and some leather thickness vary from order to order as leather is a natural product and created by nature not man.

THE NELLIE BLUE DIFFERENCE:
- Leather back is treated so you do not have fuzzies getting all over everything
- The cord between tassels is double thick and stitched so it is stronger than a single thin piece of leather
- The fringe of the tassels are cut 1/8" wide rather than the 3/16'+ of many other tassels makers

THE STANDARD DIMENTIONS ARE:
Tassel length - Select either 5" or 6"
Tassel thickness - Dependant upon leather selected
Leather cord length - approx 10" tassel to tassel
Overall tassel length - approx 20" or 22"
You can request other dimensions. Just be aware, longer lengths will require additional cost.
