According to Irish folklore, Leprechauns are little shoemakers that store their gold in miniature pots hidden at the end of a rainbow. They are often mischievous and like to play tricks like turning your milk green or rearranging items around your house. If they are ever captured, it is said that they must grant you three wishes in exchange for release, hence the Leprechaun trap.

Create the perfect Leprechaun trap with this diy kit! Complete with a rainbow road, enticing sign, and a pot of gold nestled inside a decorated enclosure, this leprechaun trap will be sure to enhance your child(ren)’s imagination and make for a fun holiday tradition full of magic and wonder! Be sure to set the trap out the night before St. Patrick’s Day, and if your Leprechaun is tricky enough to escape, maybe he will leave behind some skittles, rainbow sour punch, chocolate coins, or another fun surprise, treat, toy, or activity!

*A free customized STEM Challenge exercise handout will be included with your package! Your child(ren) can now plan, execute, and evaluate the leprechaun trap that they create! This handout will be delivered to you DIGITALLY so that you can print out as many copies as you need. I will simply email the handout to you using the email associated with your Etsy order.

*Choose the “Leprechaun Footprints Add-on” for added amazement of a trail of leprechaun footprints running down the golden road and up the leprechaun enclosure the next morning!!
