Vintage from the 1970s
Materials: Brass

This pretty Stratton compact has the popular Queen design. The pink and white lid has with a floral design in the centre and birds around the edge. The underside has a thin stripe and dot design, with “Stratton, made in England” in the centre. This dates the compact to between the early 1970s and the late 1980s. This compact is convertible, and can be used with loose or cream powder. The inner ring holds cream powder trays in place, and it's patent number, 764125, is engraved below the mirror.

CONDITION

🔸This vintage Stratton powder compact is in very good used condition.
🔸The bevelled mirror gives a clear reflection.
🔸The hinges and clasps work as they should.
🔸The compact is bright and shiny, with light scuffs.
🔹The inner ring and base has some tarnish and marks.

It arrived sooner than expected which is great. Very beautiful in person, it is on the heavy side but thats fine for the size it is. Thought it was a little smaller but I’m glad it isn’t
