Namazu, the Japanese tsunami-causing catfish-monster, wears a mischievous grin as he lurks in the in the blue-green waters of an antique engraving from a 19th century children's book, ready to wreak havoc on the wall of a fishing enthusiast, monster fan, or ichthyologist with an odd sense of humor.

This is a REPRODUCTION of an original acrylic painting on vintage text & illustration. It is part of an alphabetical series of monsters (mostly Japanese) called AlphaBeasts.

The print is 600 dpi on heavy archival Hahnemuhle paper, using Epson UltraChrome inks for longevity & vivid, accurate color. The untrimmed paper size is 8.5" x 5.5" & the live image ~4.4" x 6.7"

I will sign & date it in pencil, pack it carefully between cardboard for safe transit, & mail it First Class USPS. ***Please request insurance if desired.*** It may take a couple of days to pack & mail but should reach you in about a week within the contiguous US. Please note that the mails do take longer near the holidays, & overseas mailings can take quite a while. Expedited shipping is possible at an extra cost. Please contact me directly before ordering.
