The barrette is top notch would buy it again if I was so inclined. My issue is the packaging and shipping. This barrette has rough edges that are fine in your hand but managed to cut their way through the plastic bag and padded envelope. It was sticking out of the envelope when it was delivered. The thing is there was a lovely velvety gift bag in the plastic envelope with the barrette but the barrette was not in the velvet bag.
this looks exactly like the picture, and is adorable and elegant, its a bit smaller than I had imagined but it holds a lot of hair very securely (all of my thick hair)
