Unless you can modify a pattern yourself, use the suggested yarn weight. Changing the yarn weight will affect the pattern gauge and change the size of the item you are making. For yarn substitutes go to https://yarnsub.com/

No, sorry MJ does not take custom orders.

Can I get a hard copy of the pattern mailed to my address?

No sorry, I only sell PDF digital Downloads. No product will be shipped to your home.
