The blade is sharp — please handle with care, as this item is intended as a wearable art/costuming piece rather than a working tool. It also comes with a leather sheath to cover the blade. A thin strip of leather is used for the necklace with a silver Viking basket-weave style bead to give the perfect flashy accent. I loved the look of this. The blade is sharp and high quality. The leather cording is comfortable around the neck and easy to wear. I also like that the seller didn’t tie the cord so that you can tie it to whichever length you like. Very high quality handmade item. Thank you.
