Do you ship to my country?

Most items are available to the USA, but some cannot ship to the US due to tariffs. I am currently unable to ship to most European countries from my Etsy shop; I apologize for the inconvenience. For all other countries, please contact me if you don't see your location; I will add it for you if possible.

How much does shipping cost?

The basic shipping cost for your location shows up on the lower right of the item page; please add the item to your cart for all other options. Customers are responsible for all duties and taxes collected by their governments if those amounts are not charged by Etsy at checkout, except for US Customs fees, which are included in the prices of all items that ship to the US [aka Delivered Duty Paid (DDP)].

All US packages ship USPS, carried across the border by Stallion Express. Delivery rarely takes more than a week after shipping, except during the holiday season. Usually, I use PostNL tracked services to ship to most countries, but still use Canada Post within Canada, with tracking on the more expensive orders only, unless selected at checkout. Intelcom is also available as an affordable Canadian tracked courier, but they do not service PO boxes and some remote areas.

How long does shipping take?

I generally mail out orders twice a week, except when otherwise noted in my shop announcement. Shipping from Canada can take a lot of time - sometimes more than 1 week to the US and even longer abroad. Expedited shipping options are available; please contact me for a quote if you don't see them in your cart.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Gift bags and gift notes are available on any order; I can send directly to the gift recipient for you! Please contact me if your order is a gift and you didn't mention that at checkout.

Many of my natural items, such as shells and geodes, are somewhat fragile and cannot be dropped or mistreated without risking breakage, so please handle them with love and care. My jewellery items are not designed for children and should not be given to youngsters. When not being worn, plated and sterling silver items should be kept in the plastic sealer bags they arrive in, to prevent tarnish. Please do not wear any of my jewellery when swimming or bathing; that will cause damage over time.

Do you charge GST/HST?

Canadian GST and HST are included in the item prices and shipping fees. Please note that some provinces will have provincial tax added by Etsy at checkout.

Genuine 14K gold-filled findings in this strong yet versatile jewellery extender, which comes in 2 sizes! The magnetic clasps are attached to a gold-filled lobster clasp with split rings, so that they do not pull apart when in use. Gold-filled metal is 100 times thicker than gold-plated metal, and will wear like it is solid 14K gold. An affordable alternative that can be used with many different types of jewellery, including necklaces and bracelets.

The extenders are very easy to use, as shown in the second and third photos - you open the extender's lobster clasp and attach it to the end of your chain or necklace, then take the clasp on your jewellery and attach it to the ring end of the extender. Your jewellery is now longer, and is converted to an easy-to-open magnetic closure, perfect for people who struggle with standard clasps. Many customers with arthritis and other physical disabilities love this style of converter!

To wear your jewellery, please remember to always pull on the magnetic clasps only, not on the chain, necklace or bracelet, since the clasps are strong.

There are two sizes available:
1) the smaller version is just over 24 mm (almost 1 inch) long, with a magnetic clasp just 4 mm (1/6 of an inch) across
2) the larger extender is also 24 mm long, with a magnet that is about 5.5 mm (just under 1/4 inch) across.

Exactly what I wanted/needed! After a jeweler fixed a crimp on my 14k gold chain, I realized it was a tad short for my comfort. This extender was the fix! Bonus …. it blends beautifully with my chain & the magnets are definitely the way to go when having longer nails!
