Looking for a cute Mandalorian-themed decoration? Origmai Grogu is here to help! This little guy is my own original origami design, folded with one sheet of 6" double-sided origami paper. The green side becomes the head and feet, and the white side becomes the robe. No gluing or taping! The final model stands at about 2" tall, and is about 1.5" wide.
Origami Grogu comes in two styles: flat and semi-3D.
The flat figure has no almost no depth, besides the folds of the paper and the feet that stick out to make him stand up (if you want a totally flat figure, you can easily fold the feet away). This style would be good for including in a birthday card, and can be stored more easily.
The semi-3D style has a curved body and ears, which gives it a more dynamic appearance. The feet are mostly covered by the robe, but are still slightly visible. This version is good for a desk or mantle display. Note that this version is NOT fully 3D, it just looks 3D from front angles.
