The pattern is written to be worked using the magic loop.

Level: Intermediate

Skills required: knit, purl, knit through back loop, increases, decreases, cables, working in the round.

One size (women’s medium):
gray fingering version: length: 11"/ 28cm
khaki version: length: 11,5"/ 29 cm

Yarn:
Khaki Version
Tehete 100% merino wool (Khaki), fingering weight, 273 yds (250 m), 50g
Gauge: 24 stitches and 36 rows = 4”/ 10 cm in Stockinette St after blocking

Gray version
Knit Picks Stroll Fingering (Ash), 75% superwash merino wool, 25 % nylon, 231 yds, 50g
Gauge: 27 stitches and 38 rows = 4”/ 10 cm in Stockinette St after blocking

Needles:
2.50 mm (US size 1.50) circular needles and DPNs (for thumb) or size needed to obtain gauge.

Notions:
Cable needle
Stitch markers
Waste yarn or stitch holders
Tapestry needle

Notes:
Mittens are knit in the round on circular needles with increases used to form the thumb gusset.
Pattern stitches are both written and charted.
