Seller's description

Tiki Mug Tumbler Ceramic Brown Glaze Daga Hawaii Kon Tiki Stephen Steve Crane associates Sheraton Montreal Mt Royal Gaping Mouth
Tiki Mug - Classic tiki mug for sipping your favorite beverage. Brown glaze exterior with white glaze interior.
Terror-inducing tiki mug. It's the signature Kon-Tiki mug, used at many Kon-Tiki restaurants/bars located in Sheraton Hotels worldwide. The Kon-Tikis were Sheraton's answer to Hilton's Trader Vic's. The assistance of the great playboy restauranteur Joseph Stephenson "Steve" Crane made the Kon-Tiki bars some of the best Polynesian-themed establishments around.
Steve Crane opened the Kon-Tiki in 1958, at the ground floor of the Mt-Royal Hotel. It was probably the first pop-polynesian restaurant in Montreal.
The piece is impressed on its underside with "Stephen Crane Associates”
CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. No chips or cracks or crazing. Flawless. I removed the felt on the bottom of 1 mug to see the inscription. I let it there for the others.
MEASUREMENTS:
Approx. 6 3/4"h x 2 1/4"w at opening.
0.36 Kg before packaging.
We personally inspect each piece. There may be some light wear and manufacturing imperfections. If there are any noticeable problems or issues such chips, cracks or excessive wear they will be clearly described above.
