This journal is made from full-grain leather, that is dyed using the highest quality leather dye, and then the triple moon pattern is embossed on top before stitching paper in.

Each piece is individually handstitched to the highest standards.

In the early 1990s, my dad embarked on a journey in leather craftsmanship at a small handicraft store in India. In 2007, he established his own shop, eventually expanding to cater to international clients by wholesaling journals. Meanwhile, I pursued my education in Australia, completing my MBA in 2022 and Bachelor in Engineering in 2018.

Armed with business knowledge and leather skills, I, along with my siblings, founded Grasslanders in 2019. Operating globally, my brother works from Portugal, while my sister and I manage operations in Melbourne and Adelaide. Upholding our father's legacy, we work on leather using a 18-step process to craft high-quality journals.

By 2021, Grasslanders boasts four workshops worldwide - two in Australia, one in Spain, and another in Asia, employing 14 full-time staff collectively across 3 countries. Mostly we dispatch orders from Melbourne but during peak Christmas season, we dispatch orders from all locations to ensure the best postage prices and swift deliveries.
