The brass tray is very pretty and goes well with our mid century modern decor. For the most part the photos are correct . The one that I received had two round raised dots in the inner crease of the tray. I see these when the light shines on them. I inquired about them and was advised, "These are a reflection of the craftsmanship and make every piece unique,." The manufacturing process that might leave these markings was not explained. If these imperfections are common, and part of the handcrafted appeal, of the piece I think it would be helpful to show some of these types of markings in the sample photos.
