Ricorumi Cotton DK (100% Cotton, 25g / 57.5m / 63yds) in colors: green (Fir Green 050), white (White 001), brown (Light Brown 052) x2, beige (Beige 054), yellow (Saffron 063), orange (Fox 025)
2.5mm crochet hook, adjust the size depending on the yarn used
a pair of 12 mm safety eyes

Size: 15cm / 6” tall and 16.5cm / 6.5“ long when made with the indicated or similar yarn

Skill level: intermediate

Notes: To make this amigurumi it isn’t necessary to use the recommended yarn and crochet hook. Using a larger crochet hook, and a suitable yarn, the amigurumi will be larger preserving the same proportions.

Construction: Head and body are worked in one piece starting from the top of the head. All the other pieces are sewn to the body.

Absolutely love this duck, pattern was quick to work up and the end result is just so cute!! The pattern has you place the eyes and then make the beak, but I found it quite beneficial to make the beak first, pin it in place, and then place the eyes (I did this about half way through making the body). Got that adorable face just right!
