Inner size defines the largest image size to fit into the frame. For full frame display, you may expect 0.3-0.6cm cropping on the edges as a recession is carved to hold the acrylic or glass panels. For floating display, obvious clear margins start to show if you order 2 inches larger than your art size.

To avoid scratching, please don't fit items thicker than the preferred thickness range and avoid rubbing on hard or textured surfaces. Micro-fiber cloth can be used to clean the glass or acrylic of the frame.

Why are the acrylic sheets look frosty?

Our frames with acrylic inserts is protected with a frosty film covered on each side of the sheets for a pristine look upon arrival. Please remove the film before use.

Glass and acrylic used in this shop are both durable material to display your arts in high clarity. The frame with acrylic sheets is subtracted in weight, thus more portable to carry around. The frames with glass inserts is more timeless piece to have if budget is not a concern because it is less likely to catch scratches over the process of pulling and pushing out of the frame slot.

INNER SIZES EXPLAINED

The double sided floating frame has a unique structure. Inner size defines the largest image size you can fill into the frame. If your photo size equals the inner size, you may expect 0.5cm cropping on the edges of your photo as there is a recession lining the inner of the frame to hold the acrylic.

Each acrylic panel is 1.2mm thick, and the slot opening is 4.5mm wide, leaving a gap that holds items within 1.5 mm thickness ideally. For thin pieces, please consider using glue for better alignment.

The overall depth of the frame is 4.5cm.
