These sturdy little pots are perfect for seed starting, cacti, succulents and many other uses, including crafts, wreath making, crafts for kids, etc.

These are a great size to start plants, flowers, vegetable seeds into pot where you can monitor and assess the growing of the seedling.

These are a very good thickness enough to handle multiple uses and re-potting plants, but not so thick that you can't work with them. They will stack inside a standard seed starting tray-base perfectly and will not get in the way of a humidity dome when starting seeds such as tomatoes, cucumbers, marigolds, cleome, etc.

Remember you are purchasing a perishable item which cannot take low temps. If your temps are extreme please purchase a heat/cold pack from our shop along with selecting USPS priority. Most plants do just fine - however the risk still exists. We do not guarantee, insure, provide replacements/refunds or recommend first class mail for shipping plants. If you are unsure if you need priority, heat pack, etc, message me where I can help. As our many reviews prove, we package our plants as carefully with love and care to ensure we have done our part to protect shipping your plants.

Your plant is in shock and stress from shipping. Plants will be dehydrated due to no air, sunlight or water for x number of days within transit. If you purchase a heat pack, this is a cause of additional drying-- because it is heat and evaporates any remaining moisture within the box. Upon plant arrival, unpack immediately and place in soil and give a sip of water. Monitor frequently for several days adjusting water, light placement. Allow at least a week for plant to stabilize. We provide our email address if you need a digital copy of a care sheet.

In a nutshell, heat packs are designed to get warm over a period of time throughout the shipment of your plants to your home. They will slowly warm up, top out at a certain temperature, then slowly decline in temp. This added warmth will helps your tender, soft tissue plants during transit. Over a period of time the heat packs will go inactive and become hard/cold. This means it was working as designed.

FILING CLAIMS WITH THE UNITED STATES POST OFFICE
In the event your plant is dead or on verge of dying due to shipment delays, priority mail comes with insurance and you can file a claim on the USPS website. Here are some things the post office will require when filing your claim.
1. Pictures of the shipping box (different angles) showing the mailing label
2. Contents of the box upon opening different angles
3. Pictures of the plants at different angles showing the plant
5. Any other pictures showing damage that will assist in the filing of a claim with the USPS
NOTE: KEEP THE BOX AND CONTENTS OF YOUR CLAIM UNTIL YOUR CLAIM IS PROCESSED. Sometimes postal carriers want to see the box and contents so do not throw away.

Following along ETSYs promise to reduce carbon footprinting, we are doing the same. We no longer put caresheets in the shipment boxes. Simply message us via the ETSY app requesting care sheet and we will be happy to email you one. The caresheet we provide as what we have found that works best for us- in our region and climate. This does NOT replace doing your continued research on the internet for your plant but will definitely give you a heads up on the basic care for your plant till you have time to research.

The US postal services has increased their rates (once again) for shipping. First class shipping, priority and priority express are our shipping methods; each with different prices. Shipping times/speed, weight and size of box are just a few things that correlate with the price of shipping. These prices are fixed from the ETSY listing and most of the time are out of our control for the amount.
