100% organic cotton - zero waste, locally made fabrics, minimaly processed as possible.
Cotton is the perfect material for reusable sanitary pads as it absorbs the moisture of blood and sweat instead of repelling it. At the same time, cotton is breathable, and won’t disrupt the balance of your vaginal microbiome. They have become a popular alternative because they are allergen- and perfume-free, and can be more comfortable for people who suffer from irritation using disposable pads.

♥ NATURAL & HYPOALLERGENIC - great for sensitive/ delicate skin! - Will keep dry and fresh all-day long. and prevent irritation and alleviate odor.
♥ BREATHABLE: * PUL (leakproof barrier) is not included in general, I choose not to use PUL in my pads. Cloth menstrual pads are absorbent and work great, they will leak only if you wear them too long, just like any pad. If you size the product properly to your flow there is no need for waterproof layers. This means greater airflow, less bacterial growth and less odor. Unlined pads are more comfortable for most women.
♥ ZERO WASTE/ NO plastics or synthetic fibres - each pad is handmade, using organic 100% biodegradable, unbleached & undyed cotton fabric and cotton thread in natural cream colour, and stainless steel snaps. Contains zero plastic or synthetic materials so they can be composted! Posted in compostable packaging with zero plastic.
♥ SAFE - Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 certificate - every component, prints and coatings applied to the outer material has been tested for harmful substances.

ABSORBENCY_CLASSIC PADS:
* LINER: for everyday usage, absorb daily vaginal discharge, light menstrual flow, "spotting", slight urinary incontinence, or as a backup for tampon or menstrual cup use. (CORE: 1 layer of loose woven cotton inside for absorbency; TOP: 1 layer loose woven cotton, 1 layer thick woven cotton)
** Light: A very compact, basic pad, for light flow, for the first and last days of period. ( CORE: 3 layers of loose woven cotton inside for absorbency; TOP: 1 layer loose woven cotton, 1 layer thick woven cotton)
*** Regular: A middle range absorbency, for normal usage. ( CORE: 6 layers of loose woven cotton inside for absorbency; TOP: 1 layer loose woven cotton, 1 layer thick woven cotton)
**** Heavy: A larger absorbency, useful for the start of the menstrual cycle when menstruation is often heaviest. ( CORE: 9 layers of loose woven cotton inside for absorbency; TOP: 1 layer loose woven cotton, 1 layer thick woven cotton)

Care instructions:
VERY IMPORTANT: Wash your pads by hand before first use. The best is natural gray potassium soap. Leave your pads to hang dry.
• Washing your pads before first use will get rid of any residue or contaminants that might be on the pads from the manufacturing process. [New pads shrank approximately 0,5 cm, after washing.]
• After use, soak and wash them as soon as you can (cold process soap is a great choice for washing)
• Soak your pads in cold water for a minimum of 2 hours.
• Rinse your pads under cold water until the water runs clear. Never use hot water - hot water will cause blood stains to set.
• Add detergent or cold process soap, then wash well.
• Hand washing is recommended over machine washing
• Leave your pads to hang dry. Air dry your pads - Using a clothes dryer on your pads will greatly lower their life expectancy.
• Never use fabric softener or fabric sheets - this will cause the bad to become less absorbent.
• For ironing, set the temperature to medium heat for cotton clothing materials.
Do Cloth Pads Leak?
It depends. Cloth pads aren't as absorbent as regular disposables, but disposables can also leak if they get too full. If you typically have a heavy period you might have some issues but you won't know until you try.
Preventing Stains
If you're really worried about stains, be sure to rinse any blood off with cold water as soon as possible. Lather a soap and rub it directly into the stain with your fingers. Under cold running water, rub the affected part of the
Dealing With Stains
Stains are going to happen sometimes. If it happens to you, pour hydrogen peroxide directly onto the stain and let it soak in. Don't let the hydrogen peroxide dry before laundering. With any luck, the stain will come out.
Proper Storage of Reusable Cloth Pads
1.Dry Storage - This method is when you take off the soiled pad and store it in a leak-proof bag. Then, at the end of your cycle, you wash the whole collection. For best cleaning results, it's best to soak them before putting them in the wash.
2. Wet Storage - This method is where you put the used pads in a bucket of soapy water. This bucket should not have a lid or you will get smells. The bucket and water need proper airflow to avoid smells. At the end of your cycle you wash the whole collection at the same time.

Amazing pads. I bought one to test ages ago and always meant to buy more, but kept putting it off. I’m so glad the shop was still in business. These pads are well worth the investment. The peace of mind of knowing they are all organic and do not contain any plastic is fantastic, and they are clearly made with quality materials and with care. They wash well. They aren’t as soft as something like a microfiber, but that’s the trade off with organic cotton, and they are plenty soft enough for wear! I highly recommend. If I lost all the ones I purchased tomorrow, I’d come back and buy more! I purchased several styles of pads from this shop and this is my favorite style, as it feels the most protective.

The pads are beautiful! I haven't been able to try them out yet as my cycle is arriving after the review period ends but the pads look beautiful! I am happy to find pads that are without any plastic lining and I am really excited to try them! Also I am happy I can wash them at 90 degrees to sanitize them.
