You'll be inspired by this gorgeous variegated hand-dyed DMC 6-strand cotton floss in the "Aragon" color, named for the diverse region in northern Spain. The color is a difficult to pin down with words - it has swirls of gray and white, and the warmer color sometimes looks orange, or pink, or tan. Great for embroidery and cross stitch - whatever you use it for, this floss will make your project pop!

I start with the highest quality DMC-brand white cotton floss and hand-dye in small batches. The colors may vary slightly from batch to batch so I suggest ordering enough to complete your project all at once - orders placed together will all come from the same batch for consistency.

Care instructions: I use non-toxic industrial-quality synthetic dye that is considered permanent and colorfast, and all floss is washed and rinsed thoroughly as part of the dyeing process. That said, I recommend a final rinse at home before use to ensure there's no color transfer to your stitching or household textiles. I am not responsible if color transfer does occur. To clean before or after stitching, I recommend a cool or lukewarm hand-wash in the sink with gentle soap, followed by a rinse and a warm iron if needed.
