Most of my packaging is used, or upcycled, in line with my policy of keeping ecological costs as low as possible. I love wrapping up items as gifts, and improvise with papers and such, but the outer packages may look as if they were sent to hell and back, hahaha. My main concern is that the item will get to you in one piece. Fragile items are unfortunately at times violently dealt with by postal services, and even defy double wrapping; it is a frustration shared by the buyer and me, and I will always try to do a partial or full return, depending on the amount of damage and how much of the order can be salvaged. Because of the continuous risk, in general, the packages are rather over-wrapped, just to be on the safe side.
