Jewelsisses is an environmentally friendly shop, so we try to reduce packaging to one or two boxes ( that depends on quantity ordered ). If you need separate boxes, please tell us and we will pack the items in separate boxes.
The jewelry boxes are ready for gift giving and shipped in a bubble envelope.

I offer costume/fashion jewelry and therefore it needs special care to ensure a longer life span. Please make sure you acknowledge the nature of my jewelry before purchasing.

Simple steps to keep your jewelry in good condition:
- Avoid water or any liquids (perfume, lotions, etc).
- Salt water and chlorine in swimming pools take their toll on all fine jewelry.
- Many chemicals marketed for cleaning jewelry are actually somewhat abrasive or corrosive and can cause damage or color alteration to your jewelry.
- Clean the chains after use, with a soft dry cloth to remove skin oils and dust.
- Store away from sunlight, ideally on a jewelry box or zip lock bag - the sun will discolor the piece and air contributes to oxidization. Your lifestyle, climate and the pass of time will eventually age the pieces.


HOW TO CLEAN STERLING SILVER JEWELRY:
Here is a method to clean your sterling silver jewelry ( with no stones ) :

- Take an aluminum pan or line a pan with aluminum foil.
- Fill with about 2 inches of water.
- Add 1 tsp bicarb of soda and 1 tsp salt. Boil.
- Throw the jewelry piece in. Boil for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour out, catch the jewelry piece, rinse it and rub it while rubbing it with your fingers.
- Take a soft cloth like flannel or cotton, and rub it until it's nice and shiny.


HOW TO CLEAN GOLD FILLED JEWELRY:
- Warm water and a soft cloth are the best thing you can do to maintain the beauty of your jewelry.
- Jewelry polishing cloths work great and are non-abrasive.
- For a deeper, occasional cleaning, a drop of dish soap on a toothbrush will return its luster.
