Materials: Wood

This a solid wood, handmade chess set. Made out of Walnut and Ambrosia Maple which gives the light colored squares a marbled look. The pieces are crafted by us out of Walnut and Maple in a modern block design to match the board. Hand rubbed with polyurethane and buffed with wax gives it a soft, smooth to the touch feel.

This chess board is built as an end grain glue up like a butcher block giving it a more pronounced appearance than our standard Walnut and Ambrosia Maple board.

The modern cubic style of the pieces and the thickness of the board set it apart from other chess sets.

Dimensions:

12" x 12" x 1.25"
14" x 14" x 1.25"
Playing Squares are 1.5" x 1.5"

These chess sets are made to order and will take about 3 to 4 weeks to complete.

*Chess sets ordered after December 12th will not arrive in time for Christmas.

All chess sets will come with a re purposed cigar box to hold the chess pieces. Boxes will vary depending on availability.
