Are your products chew-proof?

While BioThane is an incredibly strong and abrasion resistant material, it is not chew-proof. As with all toys, please do not leave your pup unattended with our tugs, leashes or collars. We are not able to refund any items that have been chewed through. We do offer replacement handles for our Voyager and DYNO Tugs.

How should I clean my BioThane products?

All our products are made using Genuine BioThane, which can be easily cleaned using simply soap and water. Chemical based and abrasive containing products can eventually wear down the coloring and integrity of the product. All of our metal rivets are either nickel plated steel or brass, which are both rust and corrosion resistant materials. That being said, if our toys or leashes are left outside for an extended period of time, they still may rust. Always bring them inside and wipe dry after any use.

Do you offer wholesale?

We are available for wholesale. Please keep in mind that this is a handmade product where profits to go a local dog rescue, so wholesale orders may take time. We are very communicative and will be transparent with production and delivery times! Additionally, we are available to custom brand items for your business. Please contact us if you are interested. All retail items in our store are not for resale. Independent resellers must be authorized by us before reselling our products from wholesale.

What else should I know about your handmade products?

All of our products are handmade to order, based on the customization and personalization options chosen. Given that these products are handmade, there may be minor differences, blemishes, or other slight variations between products.

What if my BioThane arrives bent?

Our products are packed in protective bubble mailers. BioThane handles are flexible but may hold shape after being in the mailer for a few days. If your handle is received bent, simply hang your tug on a coat rack or doorknob overnight to straighten.

What shipping service do you use?

We ship standard via USPS (Etsy's primary shipping provider). If you frequently experience issues with receiving packages through USPS, please reach out to us BEFORE you place an order so we can accommodate.

What is normal wear and tear?

Like all gear, our products do go through normal wear and tear. All of our silver or gold hardwares will have the least amount of visible wear and tear over time. Black hardware is more prone to visible wear. We only purchase electroplated black hardware which we've tested to be more durable than powder coating.

Why did I receive another style of hardware than pictured?

Since we are a handmade seller, we purchase all our hardware on the open market. Hardware styles may differ time to time, but we will always purchase the highest quality hardware available.

Do you seal your products?

We do seal all of our leashes and collars with Modge Podge, a non-toxic matte finish. This helps waterproof any edges that are exposed from cutting. For our tugs, we only use heat to seal exposed ends.

I'm out of country and shipping to a mail forwarder. Does this change anything about my order?

If you are shipping to a mail forwarder, we do not have the control to track down potential post packages as we would delivering to a residence or physical place of business. As such, if a package is shipped to a mail forwarder, we cannot assist if it gets lost along the way, and are not liable for the package or reimbursement once it leaves our business.
