This is not the deck you break out when Grandma wants her cards read--the art is sly, graphic and grisly, but that's part of what makes it so special. This is a clever, organized, well thought out and fully realized system, and it's especially useful in shadow work and self reflection. The inclusion of the die and coin, and their integration into the spreads adds a rich and telling layer of divination you just don't get with most decks. The cards are skillfully rendered and elegantly brutal, and the creator has even included a game option for card use, and the mat is always useful. Really, I haven't seen this kind of quality and artistry in a long time, and I've been a deck collector for over 40 years. It's sumptuous, salacious, and definitely worth every penny and then some!
