Footed ring sized jewelry box made from a real hen's egg and covered with faux pearls, gold metal chain and trim pieces placed on a gold metal filigree base. Very unusual.

Wonderful to use as a gift box for a lovely jewel.

The ring box is about 2 1/2" tall by 2 3/4" wide by 1 1/2" wide. Hard to accurately measure this ring box.

The eggshell halves are connected by a gold metal hinge. The eggshell halves are covered with ivory-colored faux pearls and gold metal chain. The edges are covered with a beige velvet type material.

Inside the bottom of the egg there is an ivory satin pillowed surface; the top has the bare eggshell.

Both top and bottom are edged with gold ric rac.

The egg case is mounted on a gold metal filigree footed base.

There is some discoloration of the gold metal where it meets the body of the egg. A line of holes in the inside of the lid in no way violates the integrity of the ring box. They are covered with glue and pearls.

This type of craft was very popular in the late 1960's and the 1970's.

This is a very striking bracelet. However two of the marquis stones are missing, however I can replace them and the bracelet is a signed Coro. And I am thrilled about that! (I collect Coro bracelets!), I have about 30 so far, this bracelet is a nice addition.
