A gentle, gathered sewing etui inspired by the small treasures Victorian women kept close at hand. Seven tiny pieces, each chosen with care, arranged together in a handmade purse I stitched especially for this set. It feels like opening a little world — quiet, tactile, and full of history.

Inside you will find:

• A tiny handmade purse
Created from vintage‑style fabric, holding a small paper packet of expressive mother‑of‑pearl “smiley‑face” buttons. These little faces are full of charm and personality.

• A matchbox of fish‑eye buttons
A small matchbox decorated with a nostalgic sticker, filled with creamy MOP fish‑eye buttons — the sort used on Victorian garments and linens.

• A Victorian wooden late 19th early 20th century, with a linen tape and a warm wooden case. A lovely working piece.

• A Victorian brass thimble
Softly worn with age, with the gentle patina that only real use can give.

• A mother‑of‑pearl fish thread cutter
A favourite among collectors. Carved in the Victorian period, whimsical and practical.

• A petit point oval panel
Tiny, delicate stitches forming pink and blue flowers. Victorian petit point, once destined for a brooch or small sewing accessory.

• A Victorian thread waxer (acorn)
Originally a waxer with a crocheted top, later cleverly turned into a miniature pincushion. A tactile, unusual piece.
