Custom and personalised orders

I stock the most popular sizes of small, medium and large. Occasionally I get asked to make a special order of a really large or tiny face mask which I have been happy to do. If this is something you are interested in, please drop me a message to discuss your requirements. Sorry I do not offer a personalised embroidery service.

Gift wrapping and packaging

Sorry I do not offer a gift wrapping service, but all my masks are thoroughly checked before being carefully placed in a cellophane bag, within a postage bag.

All of the cotton facemasks are fully hand washable, but I do not suggest they are washed in a washing machine, as it may distort the shape of them or they get tangled up. Once washed, they should be reshaped when wet and allowed to air dry. The silk masks and those embellished with metallic decoration can be hand washed too, but just treat them as a delicate fabric. Washing instructions are included with all of my masks.

All sizes are approximate and if in doubt, I would suggest initially ordering a larger, than smaller size

X Large - For fuller faces and perhaps to accommodate facial hair, such as a moustache and beard. (Top to bottom 16 cm and side to side 23 cm) Made by request, so please message me for further details and we can sort something out.
Large - suitable for the average male and round faces. (Top to bottom 15 cm and side to side 22 cm)
Medium - suitable to older teenagers or ladies. (Top to bottom 14 cm and side to side 21 cm)
Small - suitable for most younger teenagers and small, narrow, petite, adult faces. (Top to bottom 13 cm and side to side 19 cm)
X Small is suitable for children 5 to 10 years approx (Top to bottom 12 cm and side to side 17 cm)
XX Small size is suitable for children age 3 to 5 years approx. (Top to bottom 11.5 cm and side to side 15 cm)

I searched for a long time to find a well fitting face mask for myself and the family and as a life long sewer, I tried out many patterns and styles. Although some of them were good, I feel this is the best ever!
Fogging up glasses were my main problem, along with them slipping when talking. I feel this style resolves both these points and even my young grandchildren like to wear them and they fit their little faces well. Although previous masks I made had metal nose wires, I decided it wasn't really necessary with this design. Reshaping them every time they were put on and being machine washed caused the wires to break after a while, leaving a perfectly good mask redundant, and I also didn't want any sharp edges to potentially scratch a face.
