This listing is for the crochet pattern to make the hat---not the actual hat.
This hat is fantastic looking, versatile, and also very warm!
It reminds me of an Irish fisherman's sweater (thus the name) and is easy and fun to make with #4 worsted weight yarn.
Wear it back on your head, over your ears and down to the back of your neck for a great warm slouch hat look.
Wear it on top of your head with the little brim turned up and it makes a super cute fisherman's style cap.
This pattern makes a very stretchy hat. As the pattern is written, it will fit a child to average size adult-----but in the notes, I tell you how to make a simple adjustment in stitches so that it will fit a 6 month through toddler, or an adult with a larger than average size head.
This hat matches The Irish Sea Boot Cuff and The Irish Sea Ear Warmer.
I consider this pattern to be EASY. If you have questions or problems though, you are always welcome to convo me for answers.
This listing is for the pattern only.
