*** THIS A PDF PATTERN IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH TO KNIT YOUR OWN SOCKS ***
This pattern is inspired by the cornflowers, staple food for many cultures.
The instructions come for Fingering weight, in size S / M / L, but with some simple calculations you can make magic with your needles and knit socks for your whole family!
Materiales:
Uneek Sock by Urth Yarns, Hand-Dyed Self-Striping Matching Sock-It, 1 pack / 2 cakes of 50 gr / 1 oz ¾ / 200 m / 220 yd, each one. Or any Fingering Socks yarn in 100 gr / 440 yd. Composition 75% Extrafine Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon.
Circular needles of 2.50 mm.
Cable of 80 cm if you are going to
knit with Magic Loop Technique.
Stitch Markers.
Tapestry Needle.
Row Counter (optional)
These socks are knitted from the toe to the cuff. They are knitting in the round, except in the heel section, and you can knit 1 or 2 at a time.
The instructions are designed for Magic Loop, so I will tell you what you have to do in one needle and in the other separately, calling them N1 and N2.
It begins with a Cast On called Judy’s Magic Cast On, in honor of its creator.
The Pattern is presented in 3 different sizes, S (M, L) that correspond to the measurement of the circumference of an adult foot in its widest part. The instructions are written so that the size S is the number that is outside the parentheses, and the two numbers that are inside the parentheses correspond to the other sizes, so I recommend that before knitting marques with color the number corresponding to your size in all the instructions so you do not get confused.
I recommend you try the sock as you knit to know when to start the heel.
The heel is knitting with the technique of the German Short Rows and only on the N2, in a flat way.
It ends with a 1x1 elastic ribbing and a Stretchy Bind Off.
Thank you very much and I hope you like it!
