Dotted Flower. 🙂 It's a classic engraved round flower look.
Choose from three sizes:
Large on 1/2" round stock, actual 12millimeter.
Medium on 3/8" round stock, actual 9 millimeter.
Small on 1/4" round stock, actual 5.6 millimeter

These are sawed, filed, sanded and engraved by me.

They may each be slightly different, as I make one for you special.

3" long, round shank, hardened and then tempered tool steel, batch tested for hardness.
This is for the one stamp mentioned. Other stamps not included.

For finer details of recessed designs, try putting a piece of paper between the metal and your block. Not enough? Fold the paper. For some, thicker backings can help, like cardstock or leather.

For raised designs, be careful to not use too thick a backing, so the edges don't impress. Raised designs are generally easier to stamp.

The surface you strike upon MUST not bounce. Consider finding a stump and investing in a large block or anvil.

If you're used to using a 1# hammer, this will only work with the smaller stamps. For larger stamp surface, you'll need more force to drive the stamp into the metal. It's not uncommon to use a 2#-4# sledgehammer. Consider buying Brass if you don't already own one. They're more gentle on the stamps.

This is likely the smallest you can go and still transfer the amount of detail this stamp has. The attention to detail on such a small piece is amazing the fact that the edges are trimmed down so you can see the edges of where you are placing it is crucial and also not something I have seen from other custom shops. I was a little weary of the weight of the stamp when I received it as it was a bit lighter than my others like it but it’s worked perfectly. I would happily recommend this to anybody looking for a custom stamp.
