For a lighter fabric you can work this blanket in worsted/Aran weight yarn( instructions included in the pattern)
The pattern is suitable for the beginner or more advanced knitters looking for an easy relaxing knit.

Skill Level: Beginner, worked flat, basic knit and purl sts required
Pattern available in English only.
Pattern includes instructions for both chunky or worsted weight yarn.

Materials:
- knitting needles size 5-6mm(US8-10) Circular needles min. 80cm long needed to work for the larger size blanket
- chunky or worsted weight yarn. You can also work with two strands of lighter yarn held together to achieve the chunky weight.

Measurements and corresponding yarn needed:
Size 1: Baby Blanket 60x65cm(24x25”) aprox 520yds chunky yarn
Size 2: Baby Blanket 76x89cm (30x35”) aprox. 900yds chunky yarn
Size 3: Baby Blanket 102x115cm (40x45”) aprox 1580yds chunky yarn
Size 4: Throw Blanket 115x140cm (45x55”) aprox 2150yds chunky yarn
Size 5: Throw Blanket 127x153cm (50x60”) aprox 2600yds chunky yarn
Size 6: Throw Blanket 153x203cm (60x80”) aprox 4150yds chunky yarn
