Young Icarus may have seen it thus, like a stone bird resting in the wild waters fated to be named for him, the Icarian Sea.

A talisman with the geographical shape of the Greek island Ikaria, located in the Eastern Aegean. Homage to my family heritage, to this treasured land, its history and its residents.

Cast with bronze, silver or gold using the lost wax technique, then sanded to a velvet or high gloss finish. Available with a variety of chains and leather or rayon lacing and as a lapel pin.
