How long will my order take to dispatch?

All products sold by Folded & Framed are physical items designed, printed and dispatched from Scotland. Our standard processing time is 1–2 working days. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays. Processing time is the time required to prepare and personalise your order before dispatch. It does not include the time your order spends in the postal system. Please check the estimated delivery dates shown by Etsy before ordering. These dates are estimates and cannot be guaranteed.

Can I cancel my order?

Cancellation requests are accepted within 1 hour of purchase. After this time, production may already have started and cancellation cannot be guaranteed—particularly for personalised or custom-made products. Please submit cancellation requests through Etsy Messages. An order is not considered cancelled until the cancellation has been confirmed.

Can personalised products be returned?

Personalised, customised and made-to-order products cannot normally be returned or exchanged because they have been created specifically for the buyer. This includes products featuring a custom name, age, relation, date, photograph, message or other requested wording. This exclusion does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged, incorrectly personalised by us or not as described. If the personalisation matches the information submitted with the order, we cannot provide a free replacement or refund because of a spelling or information error supplied by the buyer.

Can non-personalised products be returned?

Eligible non-personalised physical products may be returned within 30 days of delivery. Please contact us through Etsy Messages before returning an item. Once your return has been accepted, the item should be sent back within 14 days. Returned products must be unused, undamaged and in their original condition and packaging. Unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect or not as described, the buyer is responsible for return postage. We recommend obtaining proof of postage, as the buyer remains responsible for the return until it reaches us. Original upgraded or express delivery charges are not refundable beyond the cost of the standard delivery option, where applicable. Refunds will be processed through Etsy after the returned item ha

What happens if I make a personalisation mistake?

Please enter all personalisation details exactly as you would like them printed. Check names, ages, relations, dates and spelling carefully before submitting your order. Personalisation will normally be copied exactly as provided. We may contact you through Etsy Messages if information is missing or unclear. A delayed response may affect the dispatch date. Once a personalised order has entered production, changes may not be possible. If you notice a mistake, please contact us immediately and we will help where we can.

What if my order is damaged or incorrect?

Every order is checked and carefully packaged before dispatch. If your order arrives damaged, faulty or different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible through Etsy Messages. Please include: • Your order number • A description of the problem • Clear photographs of the item • Clear photographs of the packaging where relevant We will arrange an appropriate replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.

What if my order is delayed?

If your order has not arrived by Etsy’s estimated delivery date, please allow a little additional time for possible postal delays and then contact us through Etsy Messages. We will review the order and help with the appropriate next steps. Royal Mail applies waiting periods before an item can officially be treated as lost. Please do not place a replacement order without contacting us first if your original order is delayed.

How are orders delivered?

Greeting cards are normally dispatched using Royal Mail First Class. A Tracked upgrade is available at checkout. Orders containing multiple cards or larger products may be sent using a different Royal Mail service appropriate to the size, weight and value of the order. Delivery dates displayed by Etsy are estimates rather than guaranteed arrival dates. Please allow additional time during busy postal periods, severe weather, industrial action and public holidays. If an order is required urgently, please select an appropriate delivery upgrade. Upgraded delivery can provide a faster estimated service but does not guarantee delivery on a particular date unless the selected service specifically states otherwise.

Do colours look exactly the same on screen?

Colours may appear slightly different in person because screens, monitors and mobile devices display colours differently. Small variations between the screen preview and the finished printed product are not considered faults.

Greeting cards are approximately 6 × 6 inches unless another size is stated in the listing. They are supplied with a white envelope and are blank inside unless the listing states otherwise. A4 certificates and prints measure approximately 21 × 29.7cm and are supplied unframed unless clearly stated otherwise. Please read the individual listing description before ordering, as specifications may vary between products.
