Highlights

Basketweave dishtowels are the perfect gift to give or receive. These beautiful dishtowels are woven on a 4-shaft table loom and the draft pattern is very detailed for even the novice weaver (these dishtowel are actually woven with only 2 shafts). Experiment with your favorite color or modify each section with a different color. We left a NOTES to SELF section in the back so you won't forget those details that we say we won't! What's perfect about this draft pattern is this weaving goes so quickly as you are only changing the sheds every 4 weft passes- for a table loom, that's fantastic. The picture actually has 7 stripes; however, the pattern can easily be modified to keep just the 3 center stripes.

We used 8/2 cotton for the warp and weft but I'm going to weave cotton and linen next. This dishtowel is a little thicker and quite absorbent due to the weave structure.
