Memory Christmas Ornaments (Set of 3) - Stuffed Patchwork Heart Made from Upcycled Clothes of Loved Ones

Feeling Sentimental? Upcycle clothing from a loved one (kids, significant others, even deceased family members) into something special that you can keep forever!
These lovely Christmas Ornaments come in sets of three and are approximately 3.5 inches wide and 3.5 inches tall in total.

Choose between two different styles:
-The Patchwork style features four pieces of fabric stitched together; three on the front and one on the back.
- The Basic is just two pieces; one on the front and on the back.
Our current turnaround time is 2 to 3 weeks from when we receive your items, not your order date. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

NOTE: The fabrics shown in the display photo belonged to past customers. Your ornaments would be made entirely from the fabric that you provide.

MATERIALS NEEDED
We will need at least four 6-inch by 6-inch squares of fabric to make a patchwork ornament. For a basic (non-patchwork ornament, you will need only two 6-inch by 6-inch squares.
Some great ideas for adult clothing are:
*** Non-Stretch Fabrics: Button-down shirts, Flannel shirts, Flannel pajamas, Flannel bathrobes
***Stretchy Fabrics: T-shirts, Polo shirts, Sweatshirts, Fleece shirts, Fleece pajamas, Fleece bathrobes
***Materials that CAN'T be used: Loosely knit items; handmade crochet or knit items; thick knit sweaters; sheer or lace items; silky or satin-like polyester materials such as wedding/bridesmaid dresses, blouses, or nightgowns; muslin or gauze type material; nylon items; woven afghans or blankets; bedding; swim trunks or bathing suits.
Your memorial ornaments can also be made from baby clothes such as sleepers, onesies, gowns, t-shirts, receiving blankets, leggings, etc.

This is to ensure that there is enough fabric to design and cover your memory ornament. Any and all leftover fabric will be returned to you with your finished item, upon request. PLEASE NOTE: Shipping cost includes the memory item only. Upon request, any unused materials (outside of scraps that can fit inside a 5x6 envelope) will be shipped back at the expense of the customer. So please be mindful of how much clothing you send and try to adhere to the recommendations provided above. If you have excess clothing, you will be sent an invoice for the shipping cost. We'll gladly hold on to any excess items for you for up to 30 days, after that time, they will be either discarded or donated.

You are welcome to send a variety of clothing sizes if you'd like. If you have specific items you would like to use other than what is listed above, or if you're unsure of what and how much to send, please contact us BEFORE placing your order.

ORDERING PROCESS
1. Once we receive your order confirmation, we will send you an email with the address you will need to send your items.
2. Please send your items to us within a week of placing your order. This helps keep your order within the estimated turnaround time given in your order confirmation.
3. Please be kind and wash all items before they are sent to us. It is GREATLY appreciated! Items with heavy odors will be returned to you using the shipping cost from your order, and your order will be canceled. This is not meant to be taken offensively, but we work very closely with these items and appreciate your taking the time to freshly launder the items we'll be working with. Thank you!
4. Please be sure to put your FIRST and LAST NAME on your package. When we receive your items, we will email you to let you know they have arrived here safe and sound.

Refund Policy for Memory Item Orders:
Due to the delicate nature of custom-ordered memory items, I will refund the purchase price of your order and shipping cost if you decide you would like to cancel your order and HAVE NOT yet sent your items to me. If your items have already been sent, I will refund the purchase price of your order ONLY. The shipping cost will be used to mail your items back to you.
