Can I make your patterns if I am a crochet beginner?

Yes! Most of my patterns are written at the "Easy" or "Easy - Level 2" skill level. The skill level for each individual pattern is noted in the listing, and I usually describe the types of skills you will need to complete the pattern in the listing as well. And you can always feel free to contact me if you are having trouble!

Do your patterns include step-by-step pictures?

Unless noted, all of my patterns include a detailed picture tutorial to help you through the tricky parts! Many also include charts, schematics, and other helpful graphics where needed.

Can I sell items made from your pattern?

Yes! You are welcome to sell the finished products that you make using my patterns. However, you may not alter, share, or sell the pattern itself in any way. Please credit The Knotted Nest by including a link to the pattern listing if selling the finished piece online.

How do I download the pattern?

The Wander Tank Top Sweater is the perfect transition piece to go from Spring to Summer!

This pattern uses the single crochet mesh stitch in vertical rows to create an open, textured look. The top is made in two identical panels that are seamed together and an easy Fphdc/Bphdc ribbing is then added at the neck, arms, and bottom edge.

The Wander crochet tank top is written for 5 sizes: S (M, L, XL, 2XL) and is rated as an intermediate level project. When I set out to design this pattern, I knew I wanted to play around with the idea of mashing up a sweater with a tank top. I wanted it to have the cozy look of a sweater, but also the warm-weather wearability of a tank top. My solution? Give it the chunky textured ribbing of your favorite winter sweater, but with the lightweight, drape-y-ness of an open mesh stitch. I think it works!

MATERIALS
You will need a size I (5.5mm) crochet hook for this project. You will also need approximately 480 (500, 520, 560, 600) yards of worsted weight yarn for the main color and approx. 100 - 120 yards of worsted weight in a contrasting color for the stripes.
