Since every item I make is custom, I will show the approx. width and height in the item listing, I will also add any additional sizing for the hanging/hardware for instance, of a stained glass panel. The wire or chain coming off the top, to hang the piece, could add 4”- 12” for one example. I am happy to adjust the piece to fit your specifications, keep in mind-this will take some extra time, and possibly additional costs, if you wanted to add 12” of chain, vs the 4” I originally designed the piece with. Or maybe you want the hanging and hardware to be soldered onto the long side of the item vs the short side I had put it on, (please convo me with your requested details and
we’ll figure it out)

I have had stained glass windows hanging for years and years and years 😄, there really is not much extra upkeep for you. If you wish, simply take a feather duster to gently dust both sides of the glass, and occasionally lightly mist each side with glass cleaner, that’s it! If I’ve framed the piece in lead came or zinc, (see the listing), over time they will patina from a shinier to a more muted finish

For jewelry-please hang your necklace or set aside earrings into a safe place, you can simply polish with a soft cloth if needed. Again, dependent on materials, some metals will originally be shinier, over time they may patina. See •Cleaning under Categories if you want me to clean it for you, and ‘bring it back’ to the original shinier look

Materials-a wide range is used dependent on the piece, wearability, construction methods, and care-silver, copper, platinum, plated metals. For jewelry-earrings and necklaces, I prefer to use hypoallergenic, lead and nickel-free vs sterling so there are no problems wearing; if I do use sterling it is notated in the listing, however that will eventually tarnish and requires extra cleaning, and most people will want to skip that step, so I don’t use it as much, this also allows me to offer more affordable items
