This ornate, filigree-like construction is made of snowflake-gears in different sizes and styles, laser-cut from cardboard and painted in a variety of metallic finishes. Most people assume my work is made from wood or even metal until I show them the edges. I paint the edges too, so they look like corrugated metal.

This is the original small tree topper, 5" from tip to tip of the gearflake. It would fit on a saucer, and it's perfect for a 4-foot Christmas tree. If you need a larger topper, I also make this item in 8" and 9.5" diameters.

My gears are laser-cut from upcycled corrugated shipping boxes and finished with metallic spray paint, but most people think they're wood or metal until I show them the edges.

Gear designs are based on actual gears or design elements used in vintage gears, cogs, sprockets, or escapements. Gears are laser-cut from clean corrugated cardboard shipping boxes and painted in metallic hues or seasonal colors.

CUSTOM PAINT SCHEMES WILL ADD PRODUCTION TIME SUBJECT TO SAN JOSE WEATHER AND OTHER LOGISTICS. The indoor paint booth is not currently available, so all painting is done outdoors and is subject to delay for wet or chilly weather. Industrial hammered paints are particularly finicky and the best finish may not be possible between November and April.

My husband and I were looking for something a little different for our tree topper. We both love steampunk items and this was the perfect tree topper for us. We have a 5 ft. tree and the size of the topper was perfect. The workmanship was amazing. Although it is made from corrugated cardboard, you would not know that unless you picked it up and held it. The colors are very warm and true to the metals they are representing. This was all around an excellent purchase. Highly recommend this artist and her products.
