This is a super straightforward and fun pattern - in total I think it probably took me about 1.5hrs give or take. I have been crocheting for quite some time but have never followed patterns beyond granny squares/general stitches. I found this to be very simple and fun. My only recommendation would be to add some more pictures in the pattern for how it should be looking as you progress- there were times when I was uncertain but I trusted the process. I also accidentally ended up with a few extra stitches when working on the stone due to miscounting (I got distracted!) but the pattern is very forgiving. I ended up altering it slightly as a result to make it a bit more “realistic” looking rather than plushie because I’m giving it to my curling obsessed Dad for his bday. Really pleased with how it came out and highly recommend!
