This basket has an exotic hardwood base surrounded by intricate earth toned stitching. The Arizona cylinder turquoise gem stones highlights the detailed pine needle and dune grass coils. I used a variety of dyed grasses to give the weaving more detail. Detail is my thing, if you haven’t noticed.😉
Sky blue glass beads and a copper chevron create 4 windows on either end. The top row is wrapped with all the colors of this museum quality basket.
This artful piece can be displayed on your fireplace, entrance hall, bookshelf or on the kitchen table with a loaf of bread in it. Just enjoy it! A fantastic wedding, Mother’s Day, anniversary gift! How about Easter!
