1960s Green Velvet Cocktail Dress - Forest Green Rayon Velvet & Silver Metallic Fabric

Such a beautiful dress!
Early 1960's sleeveless velvet dress.
This is a deep forest green rayon velvet... almost black.
I raised the exposure in the photos to show the green...
it's actually a very deep and rich color... really gorgeous.

Lovely velvet cording and bow detailing at scooped neckline.
Gracefully fitted dress... very simple.
The suprise is the silver metallic hem...
this is a beautiful heavy silver metallic fabric
with a wonderful pebbled pattern...
which peeks out from under the velvet hem...
it's a double hem.
And then there's the sweet kick pleat and bow in back.
Just marvelous!

Back metal zipper.
Acetate lining.
