Stitches which may be used;

Ch – Chain
Mr – Magic Ring
St - Stitch
Dc – Double crochet
Inc – increase (two dc in one st)
Dec – decrease (dc two stitches together)
Tc – Treble Crochet
Htc – Half Treble Crochet
3tcc – 3treble crochet cluster –only half finish each treble and then finish all three together.
BLO – Back loop only
Sl st – Slip stitch
FO – finish off

For this pattern I have used;

Main colour – 1 100g ball of James C Brett Flutterby
Underside colour – 1 100g ball of James C Brett Flutteryby
Stuffing (Fiberfil)
Felt – Black and white for the eyes (Optional)
20mm Safety Eyes (optional)
Hook – 5.5mm
Needle
Scissors
Stitch Markers

When made using the same yarn and hook size as mentioned above, your Octopus should measure 19 inches from the top of the head to the tip of one tentacle and 27 inches from the tip of one tentacle to another.
